Concord AllStars go from strength to strength

Following a couple of very successful presentations to assemblies in a local junior school, we have recently taken in a number of new members to the AllStars - raising our current overall membership total to 32. This comprises : 19 brass (trumpets, tenor horns and euphoniums at present - tubas to be added soon), 10 percussion (6 snares, 2 bass drums, 2 keyboards) and 3 colour guard (more expected very soon).

The youngsters are all learning quickly and making excellent progress as we prepare for our 2010 season. The new music programme will be announced shortly - at the Christmas party - and we are currently preparing a schedule of performances for next year which may include entries into both DCUK and BYBA competitive events as well as local engagements.

Concord AllStars is laying down the foundations for a future competitive unit to be introduced into the Concord family - but with some quite significant differences. To find out what we mean come and see what we have on offer, catch us at our performances in 2010 and watch this space.

Excellent performance at the Wesley Hall Advent Fair on Saturday 28th November drawing a large crowd of supporters and passers-by. Well done everyone.
